The foolish in God’s sight!
But God said unto the rich man, "Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God." (Lk12:20-21)

But God said unto the rich man, "Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God." (Lk12:20-21)

People around him would have called him a wise man, praised, honoured and respected him because of his riches and achievements. But God called him a fool, which truly he is.

Was he a fool because he was rich?, no not at all. Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were rich but were not fools. He was a fool because he was prosperous but not righteous.

Jesus said seek ye first the kingdom of God and its righteousness and all these shall added unto you but he sought only the riches and success of this world.

Through prosperity he was deceived and destroyed as the scripture said "the prosperity of fools shall destroy them" (Proverbs 1:32). This means prosperity without first possessing Christ righteousness is foolishness.

Hence he will be cast into eternal hell fire leaving all his wealth for others to enjoy because he was not saved from sin through faith in Christ but Satan deceived him to seek first the riches and things of this world.

He got the riches but lost his eternal soul. You know God can only take the first place in our life but NEVER the second place.

Jesus warned us of the deceitfulness of riches( Matthew 13:22). Riches, success, achievements without Christ is a deception from Satan and will lead to eternal damnation in hell-fire forever.

He could have been moral, religious, hardworking and successful but still a fool. That means one could have great academic accomplishments, great financial success to be rich, achieve all personal goals and dreams in life and still be a fool.

One can equally be illiterate, poor, penniless or wretched and still be a fool. Anybody who doesn't have Jesus in his life, not free from sin (fornication, adultery, murder, stealing, covetousness, hatred, malice, unforgiveness, homosexuality, lying, drunkeness, drug addiction, pornography etc.) is a fool in God's sight irrespective of the person religious beliefs or what the person has or have accomplished in life. He is a fool.

Jesus is the wisdom of life. To have Jesus and be free from sin is the greatest achievement any body can have in life.

The evidence of having Jesus is a practical life of righteousness.

Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. [10] In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. (1 John 3:9-10)

If you are not free from sin ask Jesus now to come into your life to forgive your sins and save you from sin so that you will not be a fool and spend your eternity in hell fire!
