Everybody want to escape poverty. Truly poverty is not good and not the wish of anybody and certainly not the wish of God for anyone. But many in trying to escape poverty don't bother about escaping hell also.

As a result they engage in anything all in the name of escaping poverty, they travel abroad through illegal fake marriages, drug pushing, some engage in child trafficking, prostitution, pornography, others tell lies, forge certificates, embezzle funds, some even use their fellow human being for ritual money making, enter Yahoo!

Yahoo and other abominable or unprintable things like bestiality all for the sake of escaping poverty, in seeking to escape poverty, they are committing sins that will take them to eternal hell- fire forever and forever.

What they do not know is that poverty and prosperity on earth are all temporary. In Luke16:19-31, the poverty of Lazarus was temporary and the prosperity of the rich man was also temporary.

Lazarus did not escape poverty on earth but he escaped hell in eternity and went to heaven for eternal prosperity, peace and joy, the rich man escaped poverty on Earth but did not escape Hell-fire. he went to Hell-fire for eternal poverty , torment, misery, agony and tears without a drop of water to quench his thirsty soul.

Abraham lived the perfect will of God, he escaped poverty on earth and also escaped hell in eternity. He is now in heaven enjoying eternal prosperity with peace and joy.

Prosperity or poverty on earth ends at death. What matters then is eternal prosperity in heaven or eternal misery and poverty in hell.

Jesus said what shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loose his soul in hell, what shall a man give in exchange for his soul (Mark 8:36). If you are rich, by the time you are 90 -100 years you riches are almost useless to you but can you compare that with trillions of years in heaven or hell-fire forever and forever.

Seek to escape hell first by seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness and all other things shall be added unto you (Matthew 6:33). Seeking to escape poverty without seeking to escape hell is the foolishness of the ignorant.

We escape hell through salvation from sin. Sin (fornication, adultery, homosexuality, drunkenness, pornography, lying, stealing etc. Jesus is the only Saviour from sin for it is written of him, when he is born, his name shall be called Jesus "...for he shall save his people from their sins." (Matthew 1:21).

The reason of salvation from sin is for us to escape hell because sin sinks into hell. We escape hell by being free from sin. The Scriptures says whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord Jesus shall be saved (Romans 10:13). Saved from sin and saved from eternal hell.

Call upon Jesus to save you now by praying this prayer, Lord Jesus am a sinner, thank you because you died for my sins and rose from the dead for my justification, forgive my sins and save me from sin by giving me the power to sin no more, in Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Know this always "...godliness with contentment is great gain. 7For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out" (1 Timothy 6:6,7). Make righteousness the primary pursuit of your life. Anything you get without righteousness is a deception from the devil to send you to hell forever and forever.
